Privacy mode, safety exits and a quick exit button

For sensitive topics: store nothing until people finish, and give them a way out that leaves no trace.

Where to find it: SettingsData capture & privacy

Privacy mode

Switch on Privacy mode (sensitive assessments) for assessments about health, relationships, safety or anything personal. Then:

  • Only finished responses are stored: the answers, scores and tags of people who reach an ending.
  • Nothing is stored while someone is answering: no progress, and no started event to Zapier, Make or webhooks.
  • No referrer or campaign (UTM) data, and no IP address.
  • Nothing is left in the respondent's browser after they leave.

With privacy mode off, answers are saved as people go, so they can continue after a reload. Even then, MarketKloud never stores IP addresses: spam protection keeps a one-way code for one minute.

Safety exit endings

Mark an ending as a Safety exit in its settings. Responses that end there are never sent anywhere: no emails, no webhooks, no apps. Use it for screening questions where someone may be at risk.

Quick exit button

Quick exit button puts a button on every screen that instantly leaves for a neutral website, Google by default. The browser's Back button won't return to the assessment. Set its Button text and where it Goes to.
